Why Cumulus filler?
Why do we use Cumulus filler in our custom cushions?
Cumulus is the ideal filler for custom cushions for many reasons. Most importantly is the product's ability to easily drain, not hold moisture and is mildew resistant. This makes it the ideal filler for outdoor cushions. It is also well suited for indoor cushions as well.
Here are some facts about the Cumulus filler material we use in our custom cushions.
Cumulus filler:
This is a layered densified product with a dry slick and a soft topper.
This is a one piece all fiber-product that duplicates the traditional foam-fiver topped product types, but gives it a much more lively feel. Inherently flame retardant.
Cumulus products are certified for use in upholstered furniture in accordance with the following flammability codes.
- Boston Fire Code, article 11
- California 117 U.F.A.C. F.A.A.

Cumulus products do not contain any chlorofluorocarbons, (CFC’s) nor are there any used or given off in its manufacturing process.
